A measuring instrument earns its keep only if the number it prints can be acted on before the next shift change. That is why we keep the popular set small. Laser alignment covers couplings and pump skids. Vibration monitoring watches bearings and housings that run continuously. Optical micrometers inspect ground and turned diameters where a contact probe would mark the surface. Runout gauges settle arguments about a spindle that “feels” true. Together they form a practical kit for monitoring and for the precise setup that follows a stoppage.

About us

Plant teams buy measuring instruments for two jobs that sit on the same shift: watch a machine while it runs, and put it back on spec when it drifts. CyberOptics Semi is built around that pair of tasks. We list optical, laser, and vibration tools used on mills, presses, pumps, rotary tables, and packaging lines — equipment that cannot wait for a laboratory booking. A technician needs a readout at the coupling, not a report three days later.

Monitoring is the quieter half of the work. A four-channel vibration logger bolted near a gearbox, a thermal imager scanning a motor bank, or a runout gauge parked on a spindle will show a trend before the operator hears a change in tone. Those traces become the baseline for the next overhaul. When the baseline is broken, alignment and dimensional tools take over. Dual-axis laser kits quantify offset and angular error on a shaft. Non-contact optical micrometers check a diameter without marking the part. The correction is then a known number of shims, a known jack-bolt turn, or a known grind — not a guess.
